Last year's vacation was horrible! My son has been turning one year old then and I noticed there were red spots on his skin. I thought it was just bitten by a mosquito or red ants. And then it spread all over his body. My husband's housemates said that the rooms had bed bugs and think that the bed bugs might be responsible for those unsightly red spots on my baby. I was not really convinced so we decided to have him checked. Indeed. The bed bugs were responsible!
So my husband cleaned the room, particularly the bed, sprayed it with insecticides and wash all the pillows and blankets. But it was not enough. They were still there waiting for us to sleep and feasted on our blood like a vampire!
Thanks God! Our month vacation was over and glad to leave those gross looking bugs behind.
Upon our return early of July until now, they are more than happy to pester us again. Me and my son had red bumps all over our body and it just ruins our vacation in this beautiful city-state country, Singapore. We did the same thing again, but nothing happened. Maybe the whole building should be fumigated so as they will be totally gone.
For now, we just co-exist in this particular housing unit. I applied Calamine Lotion for all the itchiness they caused us and Hansaplast Anti Insect Spray for protection against mosquitoes, fleas and bugs!
Our two months vacation is coming to an end. Soon, we'll leave behind them again and I hope next year, they will be gone for good.
