We Traveled Back In Time

DINOSAURS DAWN TO EXTINCTION

I remember when I was young, I saw a picture of my aunt who had her picture taken along with a huge dinosaur skeleton as the background. My imagination was captured and I dreamt that one day, I'll go to America and have my picture taken too.

Years passed and unexpectedly, when we strolled around Marina Bay Sands with my family last July 14, I saw the ad of a never-before-seen dinosaur exhibition. I was thrilled and told my ever supportive husband, "We'll gonna watch this whether you like it or not" which I know he would love to watch too without any objections.

And we did! I am truly blessed to have witnessed such an exhibition! Not everyone has the chance to see it. I felt like I traveled back in time 600 million years ago into the world of terrestrial reptiles and animals.

One of my dreams came true. I can not forget this for the rest of my life! I was greatly overwhelmed. God is so amazing to have created such a huge huge creature. But unfortunately, humans were not able to see them as they became extinct 65 million years ago.

I do not know who to thank to in particular. But I am so thankful to whoever brought the exhibition to Singapore. We were lucky to have traveled back in time as we were immersed by the fascinating fossils, specimen and artworks on display.

July 27 was the last day of the exhibition and we were there!

My son (encircled) busied himself with the rope while I took this photo at the entrance of Marina Bay Sand's ArtScience Museum.

At the lobby while my husband is queuing for our tickets.
This was it! Free admission to our son (2 y.o. below).

Lessemsaurus was the largest known dinosaur from the Triassic period(240 million years ago).

I was awed! Wow!

The exhibition.

We were done but we were not over yet with our photo shoot.

The catalogue. We decided to have this as our souvenir.
