Postcards from Singapore

Travel is fun especially if family is your company. And it is even more fun if it's outside the country.

Well, it was not really a planned trip at the beginning. Me and my son were booked early on this year as our scheduled annual vacation. We were scheduled to depart every July just so we could also celebrate my husband's birthday together. My father got into the picture around March. I told my husband that I already found somebody to accompany me and my son on our domestic flight to Manila only. Then my father will return back home alone. But I tried to ask my husband if he could book my father a ticket from Manila to Singapore and vice versa so as he could also travel outside of the country for the first time in his twilight years. I was so happy because my husband didn't hesitate and said yes. Around April of this year, I got a call from my sister that her husband, an Overseas Foreign Worker based in Saudi Arabia, planned to have a vacation in Singapore as his birthday gifts to his family whose birthdays were all in the month of July.

I was thrilled and excited since it was one of my dreams to travel with my immediate family. We were not complete but at least, it was enough for me already.

I've been in and out of Singapore already so me and my husband played tourists for them. We took them to some of the country's famous tourist destinations.

Below are some of the captured memories we had here. Memories we can not forget forever!
