Our Son's Christmas Gifts

Happy New Year! Goodbye 2014! Hello 2015!

Disclaimer: This post is not to brag about what my son received as Christmas gifts in 2014. But instead to show my appreciation for the thoughtfulness they had for my son through gifts and to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. No one could be happier than us parents. Our spirits will suddenly light up when a gift is given to our son. It's not the gift per se, but the thoughtfulness they had.

Simple gifts from people that matter. It may sound cliché but allow me to say it again, "It's the thought that counts."

This is from his godmother, Romelyn who is my dear friend from college. It's a Garfield checkered polo just fits my son well. I love it since his father loves to wear a polo-checkered pattern. Like father, like son eh?

This one's a cutie! Godmother Joyce gave it to him. I love Disney brand because it's soft and the cloth is of nice quality. And the color is so alive! Isn't is Mickey mouse cute too?

A gift from his lola dear. A Spiderman toy drum minus the drumsticks. According to his grandmother, Yanni (cousin) played the toy along with the drumsticks. I'll just ask her its whereabouts once she will visit us this coming weekend.

This is a from his paternal cousins Andrei, Denn Denn & Andrew. Nice to wear when the weather is hot.

From his aunt Shirley and family all the way from Manila. Thanks to the bearer, my sister,Gabbie who had her Christmas vacation there.

These I really love! Pajamas in different colors! A gift from his favorite playmate/cousin, Yanni.

Hugged them when opened by my son himself. Love at first sight! Thanks to his godmother/sister-in-law for these cutie patooties!

Looney Tunes shirt from his godmother and a close friend of mine, Rhea. Sure it looks good on my son.

These are our gifts for our son. A 40 inches Samsung LED TV, with complete home theater and a TV rack! He obviously loves it! He can now watch all his favorites movies with a much bigger screen! Life size ha baby?

I should post this yesterday just minutes before this last gift arrived. A battery-operated dancing dog from his lolo Larry. My son had the sweetest smile when he saw the dog doing his 'trick'.

We want to thank you all for giving our son these awesome gifts! We appreciate it very much! Thank You Very Much!

 'Till next Christmas! Hehe!

This is our 2105 family photo.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from our family to yours!

My Christmas List, Santa!

Santa's coming home this Christmas! Well, days earlier than Christmas. This Santa is for real. The love of my life, my sweetheart. He will be home just in time for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. What's more exciting than that?

Just counting days and he'll be home again. It will be five days from now and I can't wait already. He'll be arriving from Singapore on December 18 at 7:00 in the morning.

The Plan:
7:00AM - Fetch him at the airport
8:00AM - Breakfast at home. I'll be cooking the foods that he missed.
12:00 noon - Check-In at the poshest hotel in the city. It will only be an overnight stay to celebrate our anniversary.

Along with his coming are my Christmas list, the tangible ones. It's not as grand as you think like house, car or a diamond ring. Just simple things that are not just wants but needs.

Ipanema Slipper. I like their slipper because it feels so comfortable to wear. A mom like me needs all the comfort I can get. When an errand came, a nice pair of slipper is the easiest to wear.

Aeropostale Shirts. When I bought two pairs in Singapore, I fell in love with it. I like the fabric and it feels cool to wear, especially with a tropical weather like ours (Philippines). Hubby took pictures on display and sent it to me through Viber. So I still feel like I went shopping there. Hahaha!

Frying pan. I saw this at the house, my husband is staying in Singapore. One of his housemates had a pan like in the picture. You can grill using the pan without the hassle of the traditional type of grilling. It's so convenient and the taste is like the one that is grilled at the charcoal.

Milk Tea. Gold Kili's 3-in-1 Milk Tea is love. I am not a tea person because of the taste. But this kind of tea, an instant mix of Milk Tea taste really good. The taste is almost the same with the tea offered in some restaurants and hawkers in Singapore.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost. I have this tendency that if a particular facial brand that I use are fully consumed, I will buy again but another brand. I don't know. Maybe for a change. But this one, I will buy again. It really replenishes moisture on my skin and boosts my skin's water retention. It feels cool and my face really feels fresh after every use.

Neutrogena Facial Wash. This is such a treat for my skin! I can feel that my face is really clean and is gentle on my skin. It doesn't feel dry after use. I feel like I can use this forever!

Urban Decay's Naked 3. Lately, I am into makeup again. I want to look fabulous even if I am not an office girl anymore. No fashion bloggers influenced me in using this product. When I saw this online, I feel like buying it pronto. Maybe because I love the way how it looked. It looks really yummy like my favorite chocolate bars. I thought it is a chocolate at first glance. Hahaha! I saw a shop in Instagram selling this for PHP 250.00 (SG $7.50) with the caption, "Authentic Urban Decay Naked 3 from Singapore". What I did was asked my husband to buy it there for me. After mall after the other, he finally found it at Sephora, ION Mall in Orchard. And it cost him around PHP 2,500 (SG $80.00). What a huge price difference! Lesson learned: Check before buying. Fakes are everywhere.

And lastly, iPhone 6 Plus. I chose a gold color this time. I really love Apple's phone. My current one I got two years ago, an iPhone4S. My husband is iPhone 5. We've got two tablets already. All for the love of iPhone. I can't wait for you baby!

How about you? What's on your list?

Thanks for reading! Happy Holidays everyone!
xoxo,
